During your cocktail hour, our actors enter and mingle with your guestsdropping clues and building relationships.
If you are having a plated dinner: After the salads have been served and your guests have started eating, our actors kick into a seven-minute theatrical comedy scene. This leads to our highly comical murder.
If your function is a buffet: Once all of your guests have gone through the buffet line and returned to their seats, our actors then kick into the seven-minute theatrical comedy scene that leads to our highly comical murder.
The performance continues throughout dinner with different types of entertainment (songs, impressions, etc.) and many other surprises.
At the end of the entre, the Detective enters, Deputizes your group, and with the help of the audience tries to unravel this hysterical mystery.
The show is completely interactive, giving the audience the opportunity to be as involved as they choose to be.
Our actors never force the guests to participate and we never make the audience look silly, foolish or feel uncomfortable. In addition, your group can completely set the tone and the pace of this portion, by the questions they ask, and clues they uncover.
After all the suspects have been questioned and all the clues are brought to the surface, your group breaks into teams to vote on WHODUNIT and why. We encourage your guests to come up with creative, wacky names for their Detective Agencies. This creates team building and friendly competition.
When all the votes are in, we reveal the murderer and they confess to the crime. Souvenir prizes are handed out to the team who guessed the identity of the murderer.
